Jiyon Hwang-Ki, MD, is a board-certified internist and primary care physician who emphasis on compassion for her patients at Jiki Medical Associates, LLC in Rockville, Maryland. Dr. Hwang-Ki has served adult patients in the Rockville area for over a decade, providing primary care services and especially focusing on preventive medicine, such as annual exams, flu shots, allergy diagnosis and treatment, back pain relief, and diabetes management.
In addition to routine health care services, Dr. Hwang-Ki offers Pulmonary function tests, and EKGs. She follows a patient-centered treatment philosophy and enjoys spending time with each of her patients to fully educate them on preventive care to help them live longer, healthier lives.
Dr. Hwang-Ki earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Hanyang University College of Medicine in Seoul, South Korea, before moving to New York to complete her internal medicine residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Queens. To stay up-to-date with the latest advances in internal medicine, Dr. Hwang-Ki is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
To facilitate effective communication and help a greater number of people, Dr. Hwang-Ki is fluent in English, Spanish, and Korean.
